How will my Nuvi 350 handle Welsh ?

Looking forward to receiving a Nuvi 350 shortly after reading some excellent reviews. This text - speech thingy ? Will it be able to pronounce Welsh street names ? Apologies for the newbie question but it's got me wondering as I struggle with some street names round here and I am Welsh ! :P

that would be quite interesting actually... seeing as, as far as i know, the voice is 'english' so i reckon it'd probably try pronouncing the welsh names in an english accent.. could be amusing... Rolling Eyes

i've not tried a 350 yet so i can't comment other than that (rather useless) post you see above ;)

. As always, you COULD download free language packs for the GPS to enable different languages...

I got my 350 today, it is making a pretty good job of speaking Belgian street names in English. That being said, the English female voices aren't very nice, there's that little 'sex' factor missing - the Australian one is better though Wink
