Good morning all.
I am having problems (no doubt all my own doing) getting TTN5 working properly on my PPC (I need full postcode searching as I am a courier). Much scouring of the net found this site and with the advice I have found so far I have managed to get TT5 to see the `device`......other NMEA, baud 4800, serial cable on SP2.so thanks for that :D . However, TT5 always seems to take ages to `lock on` to a signal and the strength meter is always empty. I seem to remember when I was reading on the net b4 xmas, that here is a `fix` for this (maybe I read it here but havent found it so far).
Your help with this will be much appreciated, as will any and all further advice on getting TT5 to run smoothly on this machine, and directions to any other useful websites.
Cheers
Chris

You must remember that the first time you scan for sattelites can take as long as 10 minutes. Thereafter its about 30 seconds, give or take Smile

Yes but when u run tomtom on other devices even when the device has a signal the tomtom strength meter does not work.

The fix should sort this out so the meter works again
