Anyone who bought an i3 recently may be able to claim on the shop/credit card price match policy to get their i3 for £99 too, just a thought.

Just got mine for £92.99 from Staples on their 110% price match, you need to check with Somerfields to see they have stock in and take their phone number with you as Staples will ring to confirm, only downside, its V7 maps, but i'm a happy bunny.

I have just been in and bought 3 for family and friends. All version 8. £99.99 down from £149.99.

I will be price matching mine on Halfords' seven day guarantee. If anyone else does something similar, the receipt says SatNav so you will need to take a picture of the price labelling.

Thanks for the info, bought my second i3 today at somerfield for £99.00 near Pontypridd. It had version 8 maps and 2.50 system. Better than my last one which had ver 7 maps. They were not on display I had to ask for one.

yup i got mine from somerfield...halfords said they wouldnt price match me as its a £100 difference...

Stocks at most branches of Somerfield appear to have been selling out fast... hardly surprising at (just) under £100 I suppose.

I 'phoned about 10 local branches this morning until I finally found one (near Cheltenham) which had just one left, which they agreed to put aside for me.

When I arrived there however the Manager informed me that they had found out that it was faulty (??) but that he had managed to track down a brand new one at another branch a few miles away. This was waiting for me on arrival, and has the v8 maps, although I haven't had a chance to check out the software version yet.

I am still a bit curious to know why they are being sold so cheaply though, but at this sort of price they just have to be a great buy!

Managed to get one yesterday for my wife, looks like it will have to go back though as the scroll button is a little bit jumpy on it, sometimes when you are winding it down it jumps up a couple of places and does the opposite when you are winding it up, hope they have still got one left to change it with, they had 2 left yesterday when i was in there. Crying or Very sad
