As you're not using the speed zoned camera pois just assign the single camera warning for each type.
For the gatso poi assign the gatso sound for the mobile assign the mobile sound and so on.....

As Oldboy says..........
There can be 3 setups for speed cameras.

The first is a single file that contains all the cameras together, without any reference to what type. This is named pocketgps_uk_sc.ov2 and found in the 'single file version' folder.

Second is the 5 file version that divides the cameras into types. Gatso, Mobile, Specs, Redlight and Temporary. These you will find in the 'ov2 bmp' folder.

Third is the full version that divides the Gatso Mobile and Specs files into speed zones. These are found in the 'speed zoned folder’. Add to these the Redlight and Temporary files as above.

I have not included the Continental file because you will only need this if going to the continent.. But should you want it , it's in the 'ov2 bmp' folder.

When you've decided which set you want copy each .ov2 file, and it's matching .bmp file to your map folder. Then setup the POI's in Manage POI.

I have v5.42 of the Tomtom RIDER and the version online does not work correct with the RIDER but does work with the GO 700 using the same version of the software.

Hi

Trying to load extended warning into my TT GO.

Would appreciate help please.

It says to copy modified TTN file and data.chk from modified folder to the root/main folder on TTGO.

Do I replace the ttsystem file with TTN file or add TTN file?

Thanks

Colin

Hi Colin,

It says: "Copy the modified TTN file and data.chk file from the modified folder to the root / main folder of your TTGO and reboot"

Further on the same page it says: "Restore to Original State.
Delete the ttn file and replace the original data.chk
"

So by conclusion I would suggest you do not copy over the ttsystem file!

Regards,

Paul

When you say "does not work correct" how does this manifest itself?

Hi Guys,
Leave the ttsystem in place and add the ttn file.
Replace the original data.chk file with your modified one.

As always make sure you have a working backup first.

Apologies for the double post, but if it does work, it doesnt work for me,

I copied the TTSystem file from the TT One, I pasted it into the extractttn folder, I clicked on the extract_ttn.exe file and it said it had been able to create the ttn file in the Bin folder

I opened the bin folder right clicked the ttn file and copied it , pasted it in to the "Originals" folder within the Poiextend folder

When I opened the ttn_poiew.exe program and loaded the ttn file from the "originals folder it says .....

TTN file C:\Documents and Settings\Stephen\My Documents\Test\poiextend\originals\ttn
....does not appear to be a TomTom file.

Im wondering where Ive gone wrong ?

Stephen

To extend the warnings I'd say no but give it a go. You should be able to modify the data.chk with 15 sounds. It's 22050 you need.
You should also be able to upgrade to 5.42

Thanks - software upgraded and indeed it now lets me modify

However, the.exe shows Ive clearly got the right wording with the right sound file but when this is uploaed to the Tom tom there all wrong

Its as if there all 3 behind if that makes sence Gatso 60 says 30 - Gatso 70 says 40 etc

Any ideas ?

Many Thanks

Are you modifying the ttn and the data.chk or just the ttn and using a downloaded data.chk?
