Hi, I've been running TT Nav5 on an XDAII & BT-338 with no problems. I intend to do some walking & maybe some cycling in the new year & I need to now what kind of maps I need to purchase from memory map.
I also need to know the steps involved with getting the 2 programs to run in sync on the same PDA.
Any advice help would be great, by the way my coverage would be the west midlands (mainly birmingham).

To port the GPS to multiple applications I use Frason GpsGate, it works fine on 2003SE with both OS and the TomTom, as you will be away from a power source you need to watch the battery as running these two programs together will kick the battery fairly hard, or make up an external charger pack to power the PDA via the normal charger socket (details avail if required).
As for the maps, there are two different scales, the 1:50,000 scale is fine for on a bike/ most walking, if you want better resolution then you will need the 1:25,000 scale maps, try their web site and download the examples to try the different scales, and the areas that you want.
One last thing is to get the largest storage card you can afford, the maps can be quite large in terms of file size dependent upon what you load - Mike
