Loss of signal in City?

I have a dell x50 with navteq navigation and tomtom on it, it has a bluetooth gps reciever. It all seems to work great untill i go into the city(London) then it seems to loose connection with the satalites and if freezes, and in the city is where i need it the most. Is there a way to get around this, perhaps some kind of booster so it will keep working.

get a better Bluetooth receiver - one with SiRF III chipset. They won't lose the fix in the city.
