The only Sat-Nav software that I could find to run on the 6280 or the 6111 is the Wayfinder Navigator 6.
This is an off-board system, which means the program is loaded onto the phone but the maps and route calculation is done on a central server.
You put your route in and it gets sent to the server via the GPRS data transfer that your network provider supplies.
If you have a GPS receiver you can download the free trial. It will last for 5 days.
Make sure you know how much your network provider charges you for GPRS connections otherwise it could be expensive, Vodafone charge £2.35 per MB download.
I'm on T-Mobile web&walk package which means unlimited GPRS download so it doesn't cost me any more for GPRS data
I've tried it out and it is very good. you only get a 2D map, but I didn't really use this anyway, just left it on the guide view, but like I say it is very good and it includes speed cameras, but only when you have planned a route and map updates free! Uses the same maps as TomTom
I think TTM5 has the edge, but Wayfinder, I think is the only Sat-Nav program for these phones.
Check out www.wayfinderlife.co.uk which is a website with forums for people using wayfinder.
Still interested check out www.wayfinder.co.uk the official website.
Hope this helps.
