I have a Go500 and Nokia 6230, with an O2 Pay As You Go SIM. I've paid for the GPRS setup and config, buit I can't get Plus set up so I can use the traffic service. My phone pairs fine, but I just can't get the internet connection to work.

I have tried the same setup with my wifes monthy pay SIM and I can get Plus working with that, but I just cannot get it working with the O2 Sim.

Can anyone who has a PAYG sim (on any network) that works with TomTom Plus services post here so other users can benefit from what configs work, what settings they used, and which Sim/network? This would be a great help to everyone (me included!)

Thanks

Vodafone PAYG GPRS.

Phone Vodafone help and tell them you want to access the Internet via GPRS on PAYG. They should enable your account to do this. It may take a few hours for it to become active.

When you are configuring your TTG internet connection do it manually with the following settings

APN - pp.vodafone.co.uk
Username - user
Password - user

Use automatic DNS and leave everything else as it is.

Works fine for me with Nokia 6810, SE T68i and T39m phones
