Greetings

Firstly which kit do I need to get to mount the quest to a honda cbr. I did try it in the tank bag and that did not work so well.

Secondly my quest came with the v6 discs and unlock code. As I may as well wait for the v8 version - do I need to keep the unlock code or is it worth me selling the v6 (I think it is city select discs) and registering for the v8 discs

thanks

sam

Welcome sam!

I use these two on my 2000 model CBR600FX:

Also check out the "picture gallery" at http://www.ram-mount-uk.com/ for more mounting ideas.

The u-bolt attaches to the left handlebar and the arm is angled so that the GPS is in the centre of the screen. I don't bother with power or sound at the moment.

Let us know how you get on!

i have a quest 2 on my XT660X and i got the touratech holder (01-065-0090-0) its made from anodised aluminium and stainless steel parts and its lockable so when filling up i dont have to take it off, also it has anti vibration rubber bushes and pads to stop it from being damaged in the holder! it also has a arial support bracket plus you can also use the power/audio cable (fixing parts included in the pack).
its alot of money (£70ish) but i have peace of mind using it.

heres the URL:
