Hi everyone,

could the people who have used and implemented 'shux's menu builder' please leave their replies as to whether it worked 100%.

I am considering building menus for my tt5.1 and would like to know if any, people have had problems or not

Mark, I had some difficulties in the way of puting the correct folder and menu file in the right place, but its well documented how to do it now. save your existing installation as a backup, then have a play around - its a superb application the chaps at skux have created. - Mike

Sometimes the next page arrow gets reversed and the screen won't rotate 90 degrees. If you have a PPC you don't need the arrows and can put six commands per page. The left/right buttons turn the pages.

The menu is easily editable in any plain text editor such as Notepad.

The online app just makes it easier. After you are up to speed using a text editor it is faster.

Here's mine. Just copy and paste it into Notepad. Save it as tomtom.mnu. Copy tomtom.mnu to \TomTom\sdkregistry on your PPC. If sdkregistry does not exist add it.

Before doing anything you can import my mnu into the online app to see what it looks like. That is also a good way to associate the icons with the commands in the text file.
