I am trying to get my BT 338 to work with my Samsung i730. anyone have any experience with this? The i730 sees the BT 338, but no connection is made, GPS info won't work and neither will TT5. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! |

Switch the receiver to NMEA mode (use a PC with SiRFDemo for that) _________________ Lutz

GPSInfo is not for phones, it is for Pocket PCs. What operating system are you running? _________________ Lutz

Go to the Bluetooth manager. Find the BT-338, subscribe to its SPP service
Then connect to that (the icon changes to green)
Now go to Bluetooth settings, and make sure the serial port service is enabled. Make a note of the Outgoing COM port (it needs to be checked of course)
Use this COM port and NMEA 38400 as the connection speed. _________________ Lutz

Do you mean I need to run to SPP modem program? Because in my bluetooth manager there are none of the options you listed. By the way, I really appreciate your help with this. |
