|

I don't know if this is an isolated incident but after attaching and removing the supplied TomTom Car Cradle to my windscreen, all of a sudden the whole thing has fallen apart with the capture nut for one of the tightening screws going completely west!
I've trotted off to B&Q to try and find a replacement but the nut which will go on the 'screw knob' doesn't fit into the other side (the plastic holder bit).
Any ideas? (I somehow think TomTom wil simply say buy another mount for £30+).
If this isn't an isolated incident then TomTom should get some feedback! |

I thought that the "second generation" model was always falling apart and that they are usually replaced by TomTom without question.
Does it look like this?

I had a problem with my mount, it could not keep it's head up and knuckle joint kept sagging. Contacted TomTom and they were great, sent me a new part no problem. They also sent e-mail later to check if all was well with new part so give them a try _________________ So many questions, so little time.

My mount broke last week so I emailed Tom Tom CS and they were great. They immediately despatched a new (classic) mount free of charge and no questions asked.
I received it two days later :-) |
