Is it a feature?

I'm not 100% sure about this, and I can't find anything in the manual but I'm fairly sure that when I get out of the car with my phone, without switching off the Tom Tom Bluetooth GPS unit, that it times out after x mins of no Bluetooth communication with the phone.

Am I imagining this? or is it a design feature to save battery power?

It's an annoying feature,

If I'm making short stops, I don't want to keep having to switch on my GPS device,

Is there a way to disable the auto switch off?
