Getting quicker GPS Fixs with TT5

Running TT5.1 on a Mitac Mio, occasionally it takes a long time to get a fix. I have noticed that if I load one of my oher GPS programms such as GPS Dash or Winfast navigator they get a lock much quicker.
When exiting these and going back to Tomtom I now get a lock much quicker on Tomtom as well. Maybe other people who generally wait ages for Tomtom to get a lock may want to try this.
