The files are in OV2 format. Ive also had a play around with some CSV files as well. |

CSV files can be converted using the destinator console on the pc.
You can also use POIedit which is a piece of software for converting files, I don't use it so I can't comment.
It can be downloaded from :- www.poiedit.com/index.htm
If there is a problem locating what you want in the correct format, I'd say find another site there are loads about.
Eg. www.poihandler.com who support destinator, and are worth registering with, I have.
Hope this helps

Thanks managed to download and install some new POIs onto my console. The next problem is that they are saved into the favourites section but I want them in with the other POIs so I can search for individual items. Can you add new categories for eg McDonalds?
Any ideas? |

Once you have the DAT file, simply copy into the following directory on your PPC:-
DestinatorApps\Destinator\Common\Favorites
Once the file is there, you simply run destinator and goto destinate - favorites and the POI will be there under it's own title.
