These units seem to be a well priced buy. I would appreciate any feedback from users as to how good they are compared to Tom Tom, Navman etc.
Thanks in advance.

I have a MDPNA175 and have to say that it works really well, used it in France recently and had no problems what so ever and it is ok in the uk too.

Make sure you get the most up to date software that is available for it though, I have v4.4 and I use european v4.2 maps.

Sorry cant say much about the others you say about as I dont own any of them.

I endorse the comments above. Bought mine at H******ds, used it extensively in the UK & France ( worth its weight in gold while in France- makes driving & navigating soooo easy!)

Use the POI Warner camera Db. excellent

Portable, car to car and easily carried away- I don't leave it or the holder in the car or on display to attract thieving b******ds.

Is it better than other makes? Often wondered the same, in the end, they will all be outdated every couple of years as things improve, all I can say is that I don't regret what I have spent on this one. If I find out about a better mousetrap, then I'll buy that one next time.

Be interested to hear which way you decide to go
regards
Stu k
