|
|
Anyone know the connector size on the aerial of a Mio 168 is, can't find it anywhere. Also has anyone experience of using an external antenna as the signal strength through my athermic windscreen isn't very good and I suspect it's why TTN5 keeps losing it's fix?
Thanks. |

Hi Jorgen,
Mio 168 has a MMCX external antenna socket. Will definitely help improve the GPS reception past an Athermic screen

OK, the inevitable next question is which one to use and where to put it (actually that's two questions)?
On another thread I see suggestions for behind the rear view mirror so I'll look tomorrow. Magnetic mounting on the roof would be good but that doesn't seem practical. |
