Splitting The Speed Camera Files ??

Is it possible to split the speed camera files into separate regions. I generally drive within the M25 and slightly outside this area, and therefore rarely require Speed cams outside of this area. My problem is that tom tom nav 5 runs like a dog with all the POI's in the various speed cam databases. the fewer it has, the better i feel.

Is it possible to strip out the ones i dont need? If so how?
Have you guys thought about splitting out the POI's into regions for everyones use ? It may be a bit of additional work to begin with, but i think it will be far beneficial in the long run.
