Hi All,
Brand New to the forum and to the world of SatNav....go easy on me :D

I have not long picked up a second hand MDA III with TT5.1 and Fuzion Bluetooth GPS unit.
Works a treat and absolutely love it, can't see how i lived without it now.

I'm looking for a little help with Poi's and I have tried my best to interrogate the forums before posting.

My new kit does have a host of Poi's installed and they all work fine. I tried to get to grips with the POI's and attempted to add a new set. I used Ikea as it was one of the first single files I could find.
Copied over to my map folder on SD card.
Then went to add via POI management.
In doing so, i then went to edit/show and that's where I'm stumped. I just can't see them on the list??
This will more than likely be a quick fix to one of my errors, but I can't get around it after looking through several posts.
Whilst I'm on the subject, could someone point me in the right direction for changing the stock poi warnings...."cow, polite" etc.

Everything is all set-up for me...POI's etc, so I'm guessing it's perhaps a little different to add one new set? Maybe i could have doen with adding a wholse set as per one of the sticky's/pinned posts?

Great Forum and Thanks in advance!!

Are these installed custom POI's that have been added on to the card?

There is a limit of 40 custom POI's that can handled by TT5.

Have a read of Ray's website at www.rayflanagan.co.uk

It sounds like you just have too many POI catagories.

Thanks for taking thetime to reply Oldboy.
Now you're asking......

Question I genuinely don't know if it's custom or anything else, but to hopefully avoid you having to explain how to tell it has the following POI's......
19 Different Pocketgps Camera POi categories, then the likes of amusement parks, argos x 2, asda, audi delers, B&Q x 2, beach, brewers fayre, camping, car dealers, car rental, cash dispenser, cinema, colleges, Ferrys, golf, lots of hotels, maplin, and you name it up to Zoo's.
I really could nottell you if that's a stock list or custom?

I just can't add or tailor this to my liking. Thanks for the heads on on sounds, off to learn how to!

Thanks again

Yes, they are custom POI's.. It looks like you have used up your allowed 40 custom categories. That's why you didn't see your copied one.

By the way you only need a max of 17 speed cameras. Someone's been a little lax in their loading!
