MDA 3 with Tomtom 5 - No Keyboard?!?

I have just bought a T-Mobile MDA 3 and have bought and installed Tomtom Navigator 5.

All installed first time no problem apart from when i click "navigate to" , and then click "address" , there is isnt the tomtom on screen keyboard to input.

Is it because the MDA 3 has a slide up keyboard?

I find it very hard to believe that tomtom have not included the on screen keyboard if the pda has a keyboard.

When driving it is far easier to use the on screen keyboard.

Does anyone know how to get round this please as i am desperate as i am a taxi driver and finding it very hard to get around with no sat nav.
