"Upgrade" classic to 300

My TT GO classic has been nicked (with mounting bracket). I would quite like another Go and the 300 seems a reasonable choice, but does not have major roads of Europe (it seems). As I have the original GO cd, can I put European maps on the 300. Can I use the classic power adapters etc, or are the systems non-interchagable. Thanks

did you have insurance on it?

most household policies have new for old and goods away from home cover

if you do then ask the insurance to provide you with a 500 as they are much the same as the origonal GO in specifaction (except bluetooth) also ask them if they will replace the larger sd card(if you purchased one) as well

if not the major roads of europe will probably work on the 300 if you still have the product code and you purchase a larger card

i am not sure about the mains charger

Power adapters are compatible but the mount interface changed so is not.

Maps are AIUI not compatible.
