Anyone know why the screen scrolling is jerky?

I had expected with a fast processor things would be much smoother than my last set up (Ipaq 2210 and TT3) My TT Go 300 has a nice smooth scrolling as you drive along - much nicer to look at!

Maybe some one knows the set up tweek that I have missed!!

first off, change to vs 5,1 to avoid the memory leakage problems, if this doesn't fix your issue, try a higher speed sd card, or even use a cf unit - mike

I am running TT5.1 on hx4700 with no problems and an nice smooth screen scroll, the only other thing I can add to Mike's post, is to make sure that you have not enabled the display of POI's (ovl) and bitmaps that were generated for TT3.

I have mine all off, but have set a poi warning for the ones that I need to know that I am nearby, this was a topic of another post in this forum.

Hope this helps

Richard

Thanks for the suggestions will try them all. Incidentally, I also used a 1GB microdrive in my ipaq 2210 but decided to stick with the sd card as supplied by TomTom. Will switch as you suggest.
