I've had two crashes since I bought my 700. First one was when I connected it to the mount it wouldn't turn on - the screen just stayed black (but the green LED light up) I had to eventually reset it (from the rather too small reset hole underneath the unit) and all was fine again.
My second one was yesterday when, whilst driving mid route the screen just seemed to 'float' and then it kept showing that I was on near-by roads and just could'nt seem to get my location correct. Again a reset fixed this. Anyone else have random weird crashes like this, or have I got a faulty unit?

Cheers

Had my 700 for about a month now. It's crashed twice, the last time in the middle of navigating through a city. Screen just went back to Tom Tom logo, then started up again at home location with journey details wiped. Strange. I must say i've had more niggly problems with this model than I had with my classic:
Start up GPS signal loss.
Arrow pointing in wrong direction whilst travelling.
Showing wrong position on road whilst travelling.
To name but a few!
Not too good for the 'flagship' model is it.
