I've been using CoPilot for a while now and although it's clunky and it gets upset if you drive south down the A10 towards Cambridge (it seems to think that a 3 mile stretch is a roundabout) I like it.
There's one thing that's bugging me - there must, surely, be a way to plan a route to just get you home (or to another location) from your current position. Quite often I'll not be quite sure were I've got to (maybe this is just me ) but I know where I want to get to. But CoPilot won't plan a route without a start and a finish and there doesn't seem to be a 'Make the Start where I am now' option.
Anyone got any workarounds or suggestions?
Cheers

Hope I've understood this corectly. If you set your home address to 'Home' on the favorites tab in options then all you have to do is select new trip and 'Home'.
I'm not sure I understand the second point, just select new trip, yes your sure, enter the new destination and CP5 will calculate the route from your current position.
Hope this helps

Dan, I assume you know that in Guidance mode you would just select a new trip and select your "home", or enter the address of "home" if you have not already done so. Guidance mode assumes you are starting from the current position.
So I assume your question really means to switch to Planning mode. for some reason such as going inside a building to drown your sorrows at being lost, where guidance mode may not work. In planning mode you have to enter start and end points.
One workaround would be while you are still in Guidance mode at some unknown location to choose Save Current Location command from the GPS menu at bottom. Give a name to the place. Then when you switch to Planning mode you can select this place as the start point. _________________ Doug
