Destinator - NI & ROI coverage query ?

Hi everyone! As I understand it Destinator maps come with the Acer PDA bundle & my brother in law is looking for a sat nav setup - slight complication is that he lives in NIreland - the map spec says the map covers UK & Ireland (but so does TomTom & the coverage of ROI is non existant and only major roads are covered in NI)
What's the Destinator map coverage of NI & ROI like ?
