I think you have to download the additional colors. There's a link in the Navigon Downloads/Patchs Ready thread here

Thanks but I expected at the very least that Navigon would provide additional map colour schemes with this so called upgrade without expecting you to download from a third party.

I also expected them to provide some extra skins in order to get away from the standard grey which looks fine indoors but is totally invisible in bright daylight.

I also expected an improvement in the speed of operation of the interface but unfortunately it's still like wading through treacle.

They have improved the route calculation times in large urban areas but this fault should never have passed their quality control in the first place.

But what else have they done which could have taken so long?

No wonder they only have a very low market share in relation to TomTom!

Gave it a good test over the weekend with the update & the prog does run faster in fact much faster but it still does not keep upi with the cat in real time like TT5.

It's better but not much better Crying or Very sad
