TomTomGO 500 Versus Navman iCN635+TomTomGO 500 AC Adapter

Hi guys

I am looking to buy a TomTomGO 500. Mainly because it is user-friendly and can modify it using third party add-ons. My friend has a Navman 635, I like the maps and map colours that Navman use. Also I have seen on the Navman that the names of streets that I am passing to get to my destination are also highlighted, this I have not seen on the TomTom. Can somebody please confirm this.

Which one should I go for? - I am a taxi driver, I sometimes go places I never knew existed. My main use would be taking me back to square 1 (home/taxi rank). As I get lost going back to square 1 or getting out of an exclusive area (where only millionaires live) or a maze where no signposts are posted.

Nearly forgot - one more thing. The TomTomGO 500 before it was released (June/July). The TomTom website definately stated "in the box" contents would be an ac adapter, but they have removed this item from the 500. Why?
