TT5 has a built in Points Of Interest (POI) warning system (albeit of limited functionality compared to third party programs that could be used with TT3). The speed camera database from this site contain POI files that can be loaded into the same directory as your Maps and then enabled in the TT5 menues.
assuming you want UK speed cameras, download the speed camera database files from
<http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php>
At the bottom of that page are instructions for the TomTom GO - the PDA version of TT5 has the same functionality as the Go unit. |

The program you need to get speed camera warnings working with TT5, is, TomTom Navigator 5. |

Hi Barclay,
There are some guides that should be read (in the following order):
The beginner’s guide to the PocketGPSWorld camera database.
This explains about the different camera types and about categories and subcategories, so that you can decide how you want the database on your unit.
Depending on whether you have TomTom Navigator on a Pocket PC or TomTom GO, please read either:
How to install (camera database) POIs to TomTom Navigator 5.
This guide explains how to load the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto a Pocket PC running TomTom Navigator 5.
How to install (camera database) POIs onto a TomTom GO.
This guide explains how to load the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto your TomTom GO.
The above guides may look lengthy and complicated when first seen. However if you grab a cup of coffee and read each one thoroughly then they should make sense as they have been written in a step-by-step way, for ease of reading.
