Probably similar to the transparent plastic/rubbery moulded cover you can get for MP3 players like the iPod.
Could save it from being dropped, although it seems quite tough anyway and has survived serval drops onto hard surfaces. But anything tat stops it being a bar of soap...... _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Silicone case for TTG. Anyone any idea what this accessory is?
It is adverised on Maplin as "new product available shortly"
Just facinated to know about it! Can't see it on TT home page .

Yes that's what I thought - its just that the TTG is an "unusual" shape and I wondered therefore if it is an all 'over cover' for it to be effective - if so what about speaker etc etc.
I agree about the soap thing - had a near miss recently too. The supplied cover doesnt help and I will probably end up getting camera case, which I recall you mentioned on a previous posting. |

I received my TomTom in the post last week, bought it from a guy off eBay, and he threw in one of the silicone covers for free. It's very good, and doesn't cover any of the essential bits. They also sell screen protectors, and I've just ordered one as well.
