Tomtom Navigator 5 / Fugawi compatability

I have Tomtom Navigator 5 running on my Mio 168 & was toying with the idea of complimenting it with Fugawi Global Navigator for topographical mapping.
Does anyone know if they are compatable or have any views on the subject?

yes, TTN5 is no longer blocking access to the BT port.

It's not relevant for you anyhow. Your PDA has a serial GPS antenna.

I use TT5 and Fugawi on an IPAQ with a wired GPSr. The only problem is that you can't just switch between applications - if Fugawi is running in the background it will not release the GPS unless you tell it to close GPS. Then TT wil lwwork, but if you switch back to Fugawi it will not now know where you are until you open the GPS - which may not be possible if TT is stil lrunning (I have not checked)
