|
|
I've just upgraded to TT5 from TT3 on a XDAIIi with a syson BT (which works after the reg hack). The problem I have is when I try to demo a planed route or to navigate from home to another location, TT5 shuts down completely and I have to reboot. Even if I try again, it immediately shutsdown.
I'm currently running the o2 Active non-corporate software and have tried it on and off.
Flight mode on and off.
Nothing seems to stop it from shutting down.
Any ideas what may be causing it to shutdown?
I've removed all the POIs and have disabled them as well.
Cheers
XDAIIi

I had the same problem. And the only way i could stop TomTom from exiting mid-way through the route is using POI.Dat from tomtom 3.

I've now swapped back to the original TT5 POI and it has stopped crashing and lets me plan and demo a route.
However, I now have another problem - it's missing the default POIs.
You'd think that TT would employ some more software testers before releasing the next version....... |

Quote: | Open your registry editor on your PPC.
Browse to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Widcomm\AutoConnect\000x ("x"
is the number of the com port your GPS operates on, mine is on Com7 so
I navigate to "0007").
Locate the key "BtBrowserEnabled" and change it from "1" to "0".
Load up TomTom and go into the preferences and re-setup your GPS
Receiver selecting other Bluetooth. It should work now... |
