icn 610 maps on ic 510

will the icn610 maps work on to icn 510 both using SmartST V3 navigation software

I have both iCN630 & iCN510, I inserted the SD card from iCN630 to the iCN510, and it loaded the v2 maps.

What's odd is that the new iCN510 doesn't see my house with SmartST v3 maps, but does with my SmartST v2 map.

I would say it does work.

thx my dad just got the icn 610and will try them on the icn 510 ,has he has got the europeen maps with it , let you all now what happens

I tried it again, it appears to load, but doesn't seem to work.

in the map setting menu, it shows all the V2 maps, and I can check the v2 maps (in 510) which I want to load. After you save and exit, it appears to be loading.. and all I get is GO TO NEAREST ROAD (after TTFF).

Might need to look into it somemore.
