I've just upgraded to TT5 and at the moment I can't get it to work with the emtac GPS. I had no problem with TT3 and other GPS programs are working fine.

I've tried every setting in that configuration menu as far as I can see.

Which Emtac - Bluetooth or Jacket?

Is it set to NMEA?

Set TTN5 to "Other BT receiver" and pick the appropriate port - should work.

I'm afraid that doesn't work. Cruxview says it's on COM8 and selecting this has no effect. What I find amazing is that there is no other way of altering things inside TomTom. Other, much cheaper, GPS programs have lots of ways of configuring things eg altering parity, stop bits etc.

Here is a solution:

Wait a few seconds for it to spring to life.
