Hello Everyone

My name is Chris and this is my first go at changing my Tom Tom Go settings

I have downloaded the speed camera files

I have downloaded the data.chk file

I have set them up and selected the correct speech file for the correct pocketgps uk gatso file

But...

I read something in one of the forums I think about speed zoned and single files

and I thought thats what I wanted to end up with

My requirements are

1 Gatso
2 Gatso 20
3 Gatso 30
4 Gatso 40
5 Gatso 50
6 Gatso 60
7 Gatso 70
8 Mobile
9 Mobile 20
10 Mobile 30
11 Mobile 40
12 Mobile 50
13 Mobile 60
14 Mobile 70
15 Red Light
16 Specs
17 Temporary
18 Credits

how do I set up the required files to give me 2 warnings as I approach a speed camera

(I think that where the zoned file and single file come in)

The first time I setup my TTG when I approached a Gatso TTG whent "BING BONG GATSO--- BING BONG GATSO 60"
and now I cant get it to do it :-(

When You select the sounds for the correct pocketgps uk gatso file etc
the display is

pocketgps uk gatso...

How do you know what speed it is?

Can Anyone help me?

Regards,

Chris

What I do is rename the files before uploading to ttgo ie pocketgps_uk_gatso_30.ov2 I Change to gasto30.ov2 problem is ttgo can,t display the full file name so you can't see which is which.
Don,t forget to rename the bmp file the same as well

Good Idea Ray

That worked really well

Question If I duplicate the set of files and rename eg

1st GATSO 60
2nd GATSO 60

Will this give me the desired effect one set to 300M and the other set to 900M?

Yes you could do that or use the single file version in the download which is all the cameras in one file for your first warning.

Thanks Ray,

I have gone for the separate files set at 900yards and 300yards
that way I can just use a repeat warning

Can you advise me on the other problem with the spoken alerts?

I do like the ones in the data.chk file its just there are a few missing

3 "BING BONG" Gatso 50
4 "BING BONG" Gatso 60
5 "BING BONG" Gatso 70
6 "BING BONG" Mobile 30
8 "BING BONG" Mobile 40
9 "BING BONG" Mobile 50
10 "BING BONG" Mobile 60
11 "BING BONG" Mobile 70
12 "BING BONG" Red Light
13 "BING BONG" Specs
