Tom Tom 5 Upgrade

Sorry if this has already been answered. But I have looked.

Is Tom Tom now charging 59 euros for the upgrade to version 5. My understanding was that HP Navigator users would get a free upgrade from version 4.4. Why has this changed?

because the 59 EUR includes all the maps, not just the one you may have had with v4

but you get all street level mapping for europe
if you dont pay you dont get it

when i first started to read about tomtom5 upgrade
it was said it would be free
but tomtom say we must pay
no one will force you to have it
