|
|
Hi guys,
I'm having a problem connecting my iPAQ 6340 with the Emtac Trine BT GPS receiver. It can establish the connection for a few second, but then it get disconnected.
I've paired the devices but still doesn't help.
I don't have any problem connecting 6340 with my Tomtom BT GPS receiver.
Also the Emtac Trine GPS receiver works perfectly using my IPAQ 2210.
Anybody have a resolution to my problem? Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Heru |

This should not happen. Have you specified Standard NMEA 38400 on port COM7 ? _________________ Lutz

Yes, I've specified it correctly.
I tried to run Tomtom3, and it can recognize the GPS and get the position, but the BT connection was not stable. It dropped in a few second, then reconnect again, dropped again, reconnect again, dropped again .... :x |

Have you tried another port on the Trine? _________________ Lutz

Lutz, do you mean the 4 ports on Trine? I've tried all of them but they're all the same.
Brandon, I've sent you an email. Thanks. |

I've tested my BT GPS with some other devices in a shop. Only with rx2750 it was successfull. Another h6340 and rz3715 were behaving excatly the same with my h6340.
Anybody can help me?
Thanks.

I have a 6315, and have tested it with dozens of receivers. None of them ever gave any problems - ever (oh, I said that already). Maybe the BT circuitry on your PDA or on your receiver is malfunctioning. _________________ Lutz

Since my BT is still in warranty, I went to the shop where I bought it.
I showed to them that it didn't work with my device, also with their 6340, 3715 and 4700.
Luckily they have a new unit available, and when I tested it, it worked fine. So they change it directly. I am happy now :D :D.
Thank you guys with yll your help.
Cheers,
Heru |
