Tomtom Go 300 (UK) and USA maps

Hi,

I am probably going to buy the TomTom Go 300 here in the UK as it sounds perfect for what I want, but I also do a reasonable amont of driving in the USA and I was wondering if I purchased the USA maps for the US version of the Tomtom Go system, would I be able to use them in my UK Go 300 if I took it over there with me when I travelled. ?

Next (obvious) question is....where can I buy a set of USA Tomtom Go maps

I have a similar requirement, and thought the TomTom Go 700 would suit my requirements better, given the door-to-door mapping of Europe.

I think I will buy the 700 and swap maps between Europe and the US when required.

The 300/500 would be a good approach if you don't need the detailed European mapping.

I actually never drive around Europe, so the Go 300 works out ideally for me. I only ever go to Europe to lie on a beach and chill...so no need for a GPS there then

Just need to find somewhere to purchase the USA maps now.
