|
|
Hi all.
I have just purchased my first sat nav pocket pc and I can not get CheckPOInt (version 2.0.2) to install?
I have a Mio 168 with TT3.03 installed. Am I right in thinking that you copy the set up file across to the ppc's main memory and click on it to install? I get the following error when doing it this way;
'Setup CheckPOInt_PPC2002' is not a valid Pocket PC application. |

I've got the same problem with my new Mio168 with Tom Tom 3 . The SC OV2 files are definitely in the correct directory of the SD card, I've downloaded V3 of checkpoint, then uninstalled & tried V2, when I start up checkpoint and go to the overlays there is only one of them, not 8. Also, in Navigator there are no cameras to select in the POI tab. Anyone any ideas? How did you solve your problem Brock?
Thanks

Solved the problem - you have to copy & paster all the individual files to the card, not the folder containing them. The cameras are now showing up on my map |

In file explorer navigate to the following folder - My Device/ Windows/ Start Menu/ Programs in here you should find the duplicate icons - leave at least one in there or you won't be able to launch checkPoi without re-installing it - cheers mike |
