Which maps do I need?

Hi

After much deliberation and lots of reading of this forum I have just placed an order for a Tomtom 300 from Amazon (being the cheapest).

The next question is which maps do I buy? I need street level maps of France. I have seen Tontom Navigator 3 Maps of Western Europe advertised at Supertrader.co.uk for £90. Are these the ones I need or will there be new ones to go with the new Tomtom.

If these are the right maps, is this a good price if not can someone point me in the right direction.

these ARE NOT the maps you want. Tomtom go has its own set of maps. I would wait a while, because new updated maps are going to be released in the next few weeks. The going rate seemed to be a little over £100 for the street level maps of ALL the Western European countries (supplied on 4 cds), or a bit less for a SD card with street level maps for 1 country

When the 300 comes out it should have the new maps on it. This would imply that the version 5 maps of Europe will be out soon.
