I have to agree there is plenty of room to fit my 60c in using the ram handlebar mount. :D |

I also have an XR400 and have been using my GPSMAP 60C with a ram handlebar mount for about 3 weeks both on and off tarmac and have had no problems so far.
I would also look into hardwiring ... |
