i have a tomtomone just now (one fo the first ones, not widescreen etc), it's fine apart from trying to send me on country/small roads because it thinks it will be quicker
will hgv maps likely work w ... |

glad to see they've started making these now,
I don't NEED one just now because I'm doing a trunking job, might be an idea to wait a while? looks like they're still in development from some of these ... |

I saw this on a friends navman n40, looked really useful, what I want to know is does it only try to include motorways if set to 'use more' or does it try to keep you to major roads rather than going ... |

what is considered the best for trucks just now, are there any HGV dedicated systems yet? any PDA software made with trucks in mind ?
I used to have a garmini3 which didn't take me down too many smal ... |

ok not quite sorted, the original card is 128mb , what is the max size of card i can buy so i can put different voices/poi's etc on ?

thanks people, was kinda wanting that r/c truck though, could have made a good present, couldnt have been bad if it was worth 100 quid!!

is pc world still the cheapest place, went in to have a look today and it's back up to 280 (well 260 actually as they had some offer on, but was 220 previously)

eventually took mine back too, sat nav is cool but I honestly find using an actual map less stressful
perhaps tomtom or whatever is better because it can show you the route before you set off, but dr ... |
