Did the same balls up with the voice (British) updating, sounds better speech wise but very quiet compared to the old one, so restored old one.

Stick with 2.70 and avoid voice updating Very Happy

You will not have routable mapping in Europe. And only the main highways shown. When did you buy the unit, if you get the upgrade to V9 you will get the whole of Europe as a freebie, then no problem
