Did the same balls up with the voice (British) updating, sounds better speech wise but very quiet compared to the old one, so restored old one.
Stick with 2.70 and avoid voice updating

| For us folks with i3 you could load the UK maps and speed cameras onto one card, then in the train or on a ferry swap the card for the EU ones with the EU cameras on it, and the speed settings to KM.

| You will not have routable mapping in Europe. And only the main highways shown. When did you buy the unit, if you get the upgrade to V9 you will get the whole of Europe as a freebie, then no problem |
