Asked this a while ago, but still looking for a POI for UK petrol stations... the ones I have tried all seem to get the smaller local ones quite a way from where they should be !

It should be possible using Memory Map, to get the line of detection on the map you will need to walk along the heading, then create an extrapolated track, this will draw the line for you, repeat at t ...

RDF = Radio Direction Finding.....

In short.... using a beam antenna, you goto a high spot - point the beam around until you get the highest signal strength... this give you a bearing via a compa ...

Please also be aware that it is BEST to untick the "warn only if POI is on route" because of the way the cams are logged - sometimes they only appear to be on one side of the road when they are on ...

Thanks for the link.... seems they have the same faulty database for my local petrol stations !!!!! Sad

...seems that the fuel POI I got originally was "off beam" and not a hardware/tt5 fault ! Installed a few other POI's and they are fine.

I have tried the one listed on here... my local ones are missing !
Also had one from poidownload.uk but this one seems VERY inaccurate.
