My point was that if someone runs into you and then drives off again you've no evidence of the guilty party - unless you can remove it to use as a hand-held camera.

Possibly useful if YOU run into somebody else but what if somebody runs into your back-end or side? Apart from recording your speed/time and place (which you'd write on the back of an envelope anyway ... |

When I open Tyre I see an icon to "Run Google Earth" but no mention of "Google Maps".
When I read the Help file it only tells you how to plan a route in Google Earth.

So how does one use Tyre with Google Maps?
I can do it OK using Tyre and Google Earth but can't seem to find a way to do it with Google Maps!
I suppose I'm overlooking something but can't see what!

Problem partially solved.
Just noticed that "Active X controls" were turned off in IE7.
Enabling them got WMP to work with both direct/indirect links.

Still can't get it to work with Firefox tho ... |
