Now my 520 is having the same trouble - and I've avoided updates for a couple of months. I have cured the file error by running a chkdsk though.

I still can't get a RDS signal with this version - tried rolling back to 7 and it picks up straight away.

Looks like it may be just me -but since upgrading to this version - TMC hasn't received a signal once. Thought it was atmospherics for a few days - but took a long trip to Kent from Staffs yesterday ...

I've interestingly had the same issue with GNSDATA, and the file is marked as corrupt- so even windows can't handle it directly. Good old CHKDSK sorts it - but odd same file corrupted as yours??
