I found different firmware versions make a big difference to the time it takes to lock onto satellites. With 3.1 it took a good few minutes but now I'm back on 2.7 it locks on within 30-40 secs or so.

My v8 with 2.7 firmware doesn't show this message yet. I wonder if it's down to the firmware you use?
