I have just sent Garmin an email to ask them to confirm or deny these recall rumours for the Quest 2. As soon as I get a reply I will let you all know either way what they say.

I agree.....Quest 2 all the way for me.
I can use this on my Harley, in my Discovery and good for when I am in the field. Brilliant for tracking back to the car, when on foot.

I had the same problem with my Quest crashing when viewing 'all'. Make sure that you have the latest firmware installed (2.60). This will correct the crashing problem.

You are quite right in that the Quest 1 and 2 both store maps on their internal memory. To add maps you just need to upload them via your pc and away you go.

How do I delete a custom poi from a quest 2? I have loaded the speed camera database onto my quest 2 and want to remove data for areas that I do not travel in.
