Well I suppose you have some alternatives. Either a dedicated unit with french regional maps (you may need to buy from a french outlet) or a PDA satnav that you get maps to add onto

Another thing to think about is whether you need it to speak the names of the streets in turn-by-turn navigation. ...
I do not think the TomTom One says road names - I think only the 930 does ... |

You could always add the Yakomo Delta X to that list.

| Mostly hotspots are unencrypted and you open a "new" web browser first, it will often then come up with a welcome page - especially for those where you need to pay. |

The Navman F20 has less features, than the iCN530. Its the Navman N20 that's got the same feastures with a better processor.
