The change to the centre of Bristol happened in 2000 (part of the millennium changes to ruin the centre of Bristol  )
The maps for Navigator 3 show the old layout - I'm not sure about any others. ... |

Out of interest I've had the same kind of problem on the A370 (near Cleeve I think!) and the A38 near Bristol Airport.
