I can't confirm the original price, but e-buyer do have a habit of altering prices pretty frequently. The cynic in me would think that it always seems to be on items that are selling well.

I'm using Energizer rechargeables, not sure who makes them. If it's such a problem I think I'll stick to the non-rechargeable type.
